The Gaelic festival Samhain (pronounced sah-win or sau-in) celebrates crossing the threshold from summer into winter, warmth into cold, and light into darkness. As the Night takes hold, is it any wonder why so many imagined it as a time when the dead come back to visit the living? This ancient celebration is one of many seasonal ancestor festivals that gave rise to the modern holiday of Halloween.
Join Donna Woodwell, the witchy headmistress of the School of Magic & Mastery, for a special 60-minute gathering, featuring everything you need to celebrate Samhain, Halloween or an ancestor festival of your own creation.
