This New Moon is flirting with a jovial-yet-scattered Jupiter in Gemini. Jupiter usually wants us to connect to our loftier impulses. He gravitates toward truth, justice and integrity. But while he’s traveling through Gemini, he’s also easily distracted. But, his mercurial “it’s all good” philosophy can make it difficult to chart a path or make a decision. Nevertheless, positive thinking will count for more than criticism this lunation.

Saturn in Pisces lords over the Aquarius New Moon. Saturn likes to feel grounded, pragmatic and structured, all things that may feel strange to unbounded Pisces. Nevertheless, Saturn’s had three years to learn how to navigate deep waters. Top on his lessons list? Make time for your spiritual practice; there’s no better remedy for what ails you than to plug into your Source, however you define that. Just don’t make feel like work; making life fun may be the most potent lesson of all.

But there’s a fly in Saturn’s chardonnay. A wild, color-outside-the-lines Mars is stopping by for a “friendly” chat. But is it actually a cordial visit if one party advocates for wrecking the house for spite, fun or maybe both? Right now Mars is (1) retrograde (2) in the sign of his “fall” and (3) out-of-bounds, a trifecta that has removed all guard rails from his actions.
