"Go with the Flow" could be Pisces' motto. Its oceanic expanse helps us to dissolve harsh ego-boundaries away, so that we can re-experience the Oneness behind existence. Pisces lessons teach compassion and sacrifice, as well as release and wholeness.

But each year, thanks to an ever-moving sky, Zodiac signs manifest a little differently. So, let’s dive into the astrological energies that set the 2024 Pisces Season apart from other years.

If you want to learn more about what the Zodiac sign Pisces means, check out my post on how to Make the Most of Pisces Season.

Now let’s get into what sets the 2024 Pisces Season apart from those in other years...

As this Pisces season begins, the Sun harmonizes with a regal Moon in Cancer. The Moon sets the emotional tone of the season; while it’s in Cancer it’s feeling secure knowing that all is well in its queendom. Together the two encourage us to rely on intuitive arts for self-understanding. It’s a season for self-care for sure. However, with the Moon out of bounds, you may be seeking something a little more radical than a mani-pedi. Don’t be afraid to get a little outside of your comfort zone; you may discover something something new to love.

Saturn’s also in Pises, not far from the Sun. Saturn likes it best when things are grounded, practical and predictable. However, watery Pisces is much like the ocean; it’s wide, vast, and difficult to pin down. So Saturn is learning the power of embracing the present moment and finding his center deep within. As the Sun approaches Saturn over the next week, you may find yourself feeling the burdens of responsibility or limitations a little more than usual. If so, remember it will pass quickly enough, just focus on the next step and you’ll get through just fine.

Pisces’ ruler Jupiter is savoring his final few months in sensual Taurus. Jupiter encourages us to look on the bright side; he’s optimistic and abundant. While he’s in Taurus, he’s applying his philosophy in earthy ways to celebrate life's simple pleasures. Fortunately for Jupiter, Saturn’s cruising through Jupiter’s terrain, reminding him to enjoy all the good things, but in moderation, of course.!

Although the Sun’s moving on into Pisces, the party continues in Aquarius. The love goddess Venus and feisty Mars have entered the sign of the Water Bearer almost hand in hand, then met up with shadowy Pluto. The divine lovers will finally connect on Feb. 22. It’s a constellation that can bring a deep burst of creativity you can use wherever it’s needed. But it’s especially potent for understanding the relationship between your inner masculine and feminine polarity (which, of course, can have a profound effect on your outer word relationships too.) You may need a little extra Me time mid-month to explore this potent combination.

Best Approach to Pisces 2024

All in all, this Pisces season is a pleasant affair. There’s a balance of mind and heart, logic and intuition, and pleasure within limits. In other words, it’s a good time to embrace the Middle Way in all things. Keep things simple, enjoy the present moment, and embrace the flashes of inspiration that shine through when you are calm and centered.

"Instead of making others right or wrong, or bottling up right and wrong in ourselves, there's a middle way, a very powerful middle way...... Could we have no agenda when we walk into a room with another person, not know what to say, not make that person wrong or right? Could we see, hear, feel other people as they really are? It is powerful to practice this way..... true communication can happen only in that open space."
